We offer full livery services including broodmare boarding, youngstock, horses at rest or pre-training and those recuperating from injury - Abacus Bloodstock can accomodate all types of horses.  Our excellent facilities, backed by our great staff and team of professional suppliers means we can offer horses the very best attention, whether for a short period or as a long-term boarder.  Our fees are reasonable and we include many extras which are usually charged elsewhere including full use of the facilities.  We even provide free transport.*  We have limited availability but please feel free to contact us to discuss further.

Using a combination of modern techniques and natural horsemanship, we deliver well behaved, well balanced individuals who are mentally and physically able to cope with race training or new life after retirement. Our horses are renown for their mental toughness and good manners - trainers and jockeys love them. Nice horses are far more likely to succeed and we like to see contented horses leave us for their next stage in life. We offer on-site and visiting services and proudly support the rehoming and retraining of retired racehorses.

Horses need a rest,and in the case of injury, a place to recuperate and rebuild.  At Abacus Bloodstock we provide a nurturing, relaxing environment for horses to be horses, whilst rebuilding physical and mental well-being.  Located near to the largest equine hospitals in the UK, we have access to operating theatres, diagnostic services, including standing MRI, and a wealth of experience from veterinary and support professionals.  Our facilities, including the walker, exercise arena and soalrium aid recovery and allow horses to be monitored at all times.  For horses just in need of a rest, our paddocks are full of lush grass and welcoming play-mates, meaning your horse will really relax and recharge.

Using our custom built 2 stall horsebox, our drivers are fully trained to DEFRA standards and are fully insured.  The horsebox is fitted with internal and external cameras and is supported by comprehensive breakdown recovery.  Indeed we are a preferred supplier for recovery companies ourselves.  Staff have experience of transporting racehorses to the races and the sales, mares and foals, and potentially problem loaders.  All travelling staff have passed BHA regulated training for access to the racecourses and we can support trainers and studs in their transport requirments as well as members of the public.  Our rates are highly competitive.

Our professional team can offer advice on breeding options, pedigree design, broodmare purchases and stallion nominations.  Using state of the art software and our years of good judgement including experience of international breeding & racing, to formulate the best options for our clients and their horses.   Whether looking to use your own mares, or becoming part of one of our successful breeding syndicates, Abacus Bloodstock will make the whole process simple to understand and cost effective.  We also provide transportation and walking-in services to studs.

Abacus Bloodstock Racing Club is a low cost racing syndicate, allowing like-minded owners to enjoy the benefits and thrill of ownership.  Our syndicate horses have raced at Royal Ascot, Glorious Goodwood and Epsom, although ownership of a fancy hat are not a requirement of ownership!

Our breeding syndicates have been highly successful - offering the chance to be in at the beginning of new life.  So far, all of these syndicates have delivered a financial return, although to be clear this is not a guaranteee.  However, if you breed good horses then you are more likely to be successful.  Abacus Bloodstock really is "breeding you can count on".
