Futurity Foal Shares

The future of racing

Owning a share in a foal is the most fulfilling of all racing ownerships, being part of history before it has even begun - and with your name forever in the history books as breeder.  You will also have access to certain races as the breeder and access to the stud to visit your foal.

All-inclusive single payment

Prices quoted are all-inclusive so what you pay is ALL you pay.  This includes vet bills, keep, sales preparation and all other costs. You will be free to visit the stud and will receive updates on the mare and foal throughout.  Whilst we cannot guarantee your returns, previous share issues have all provided a profit to investors

Long-term investment

Your foal will usually be sold as a yearling with the proceeds divided according to shareholding.  This will be net of any sales fees and commissions.  You own a share only in the progeny, not in either the stallion or the mare.  Full details are available by contacting us

Due Diligence x Sheltered

This is for a share in the 2022 foal to be sold as a yearling in 2023.

Due Diligence has had an excellent start to his career at stud, although as the son of the great War Front, out of a mare by US Champion sire Pulpit that should hardly be a surprise.  He delivers a winning strike rate of 30% for his offspring and it should be noted that horses bred on the cross we have chosen have a 100% winning record!  Perhaps most importantly, he has had multiple Group winners too.  Trained by Aidan O'Brien, Due Diligence won over £200,000 in prize money and was the Irish Champion Sprinter in his 3yo season.  His yearlings have realised an average of £24000 at the sales in 2021 with a 100% clearance rate - so his progeny remain in high demand at healthy prices.
As already mentioned, the mating with our broodmare Sheltered (Dutch Art x Cosseted) represents a meeting of two great racing dynasties.  The mare was purchased from Cheveley Park Stud and she possesses a fantastic, fast pedigree - full of some of the most famous names in British breeding and racing.  The pedigree of this foal is bound to bring interest at the sales and represents a great opportunity to shareholders.

Adaay x Fangfoss Girls

This is for a share in the 2022 foal to be sold as a yearling in 2023.

Foal Share

ADAAY won both the Group 2 Sandy Lane and Hungerford Stakes and has proved a hit with breeders.  He is the 2020 UK Champion sire of 2 year olds so his precocity has been passed to his offspring.   Yearlings by Adaay have sold for up to £53K and an average of £15K - meaning a potential average investment uplift of 300%.  Add this to the proven success of Fangfoss Girls; a 2-time 2yo winner herself and dam of multiple winners Roll on Rory and Pancake Day - the winners of 15 races between them.  This foal will be a 3/4 relation to both of these successful racehorses given that their sire, Mullionmileanhour and Adaay are half brothers through the dam, Lady Lucia.  Therefore this is a cross with speed, precocity and proven success.  Shares are in demand so do not hesitate as you may miss out!

Group 1 Prix le Foret winner Aclaim has his first runners in 2021, with his foals averaging £32000.  He is of course by the same sire as the highest priced horse ever sold at a European auction, Marsha. Looks and class abound in this family!  This son of Acclamation joins his sire's other stallion sons Mehmas, Equiano, Expert Eye, Harbour Watch and Dark Angel at stud with a large book totalling 327 mares in his first 3 years at stud, and arguably his best book yet for 2021 - including Group winning and producing mares. On the track his debut 2yos are in training with the likes of Clive Cox, Karl Burke, Richard Fahey, Andrew Balding, Sir Michael Stoute, Joseph O'Brien and Martyn Meade to name a few.

“ACLAIM has the heart of a lion. He is very tough and sound. If his progeny possess the same will to win as he did then I have no doubt he will be the sire of elite racehorses.” – Martyn Meade, Trainer

Broodmare Princess of Rock posesses an impressive pedigree, not least as she is the proven winning cross of Danehill line (here sire is multi-G1 winner Rock of Gibraltar) mixed with Machiavellian.  The cross with Aclaim will further strengthen claims of potential success, and interest at the sales with the foal sharing many relatives on both sides of the pedigree to  Mehmas, Johnnie Barnes and Dark Angel to name a few.  Princess of Rock has had 3 foals since joining Abacus Bloodstock, including a colt 2yo by Swiss Spirit in training in France and a Lethal Force filly yearling who we have retained.  She consistently produces superb looking offspring with wonderful movement and ideal temperaments.

SERGEI PROKOFIEV raced for the Coolmore team, trained by Aidan O’Brien and was a winner by over 7 lengths when breaking his maiden over 5 furlongs. Sold for $1.1 million as a yearling he won three stakes races, including a spell-binding win in the Cornwallis at Newmarket. A son of SCAT DADDY and a daughter of American super sire TAPIT this will be his first season at stud – where he is sure to attract excellent mares and will inject speed and toughness into his progeny.

WILLBEME (pictured below) raced consistently over a 7 year career with 5 wins and multiple places, including gaining black-type in the Group 3 Summer Stakes and when losing to PEARL SECRET in the Beverley Bullet. She earned an official rating of 98 and was renowned for her turn of foot and attitude, just like her sire KYLLACHY. This will be her second foal.

With parents such as these, the foal will be sure to be in demand at the sales. It will be born and raised at Abacus Bloodstock and will be sold at the 2023 yearling sales so this is a longer term investment, but with the enjoyment of seeing the foal grow, and being part of things at Abacus Bloodstock.
